Taking the Fight out of Food
Raising Healthy Eaters in our Junk Food World
You care about your children and want them to eat the healthiest food possible! You know that they should be eating more fruits and vegetables. You know if they eat better, they’ll be happier, sick less often, have a more positive mood and have more opportunities in life. But, you find it is too complicated, you are busy, it is expensive, the kids won’t eat it and you don’t know where to start. I am here to tell you:
· You can raise kids who love healthy food!
· You can make delicious and nutritious food that your children will eat!
· You don’t have to be a victim of our junk food society!
· You don’t have to spend hours and hours in the kitchen to make healthy habits happen in your family!
As parents, if we dedicate our energy and set the intention for a healthy lifestyle, we effortlessly pass these benefits on to our children. By changing our habits, we are laying the foundation for ourselves and our children.
Here are some of the benefits you will get when you enroll in this program:
- You will get information that will educate you and inspire you to take action towards making healthy shifts in your family’s diet.
- You will be supported and encouraged as you learn from a health counselor as well as receive support from other parents just like you.
- Get practical tips, recipes and ideas that you can implement immediately to get your family on track to a healthier lifestyle that are easy and do-able in your busy schedule.
Each week we’ll focus on a specific meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks and Desserts) and a mindset or practical skill set. This program will shift you from wishing your kids ate healthier foods to having kids that DO eat healthier foods.
In these classes you will learn:
· The mindset shifts that need to happen, so that change can happen in your family.
· Specific techniques that are fun, and will get your kids on board.
· How to get your significant other on board.
· How to help your kids be adventurous eaters.
· How healthy and fast can work together.
· How to satisfy your childrens’ sweet tooth without rotting their teeth!
· Meal by meal, how to make healthier choices.
· How to ease the kitchen stress of wondering what’s for dinner.
· How to have a healthy dinner on the table when you only have 15 minutes.
· How to combat our junk food society.
· How to treat food as a skill set for your children to master.
· How to avoid being a short order cook – making special meals for each member of the family.
· How to create a healthy lunch box your kids will eat.
· What you need to do first, to really make this work.
· How to cope with candy holidays and well-meaning relatives.
· How to go out to dinner with your kids and still eat healthy food.
· How to make all of it work when you are super busy.
This Program is for you if:
· You’re ready to make a change in your family.
· You’d like to have fun with your kids in the kitchen.
· You’re open to trying out some new strategies.
· You’re willing to experiment with some new foods.
· You’re able to spend a little time in the kitchen each day.

Here is a testimonial from my Lunch Workshop:
"Can't tell you how much your Lunch Workshop really transformed my fridge and pantry. We have made a COMPLETE turn around in the way we are eating - and the girls are absolutely loving it! We've been eating lots of roasted vegetables, roasted chick peas and the girls are begging for more. Right now, I am buying store bought hummus, will eventually move to homemade. They are loving the variety of lunches - I took your list and tailored it to what I am purchasing at grocery store. It's been fun!"
